During the strike and now after the strike; WE CONTINUE TO TAKE ORDERS FOR ROTATION OF PLACEMENT, which means- you order a car - you’ll get your car, the deals have been incredible, so we ask for your patience as we place orders best we can based on GM distribution. We also continue to offer some GREAT deal right now and well worth the wait. I only take orders on cars I KNOW I will obtain for you.

Last week there was a last minute alteration after we had posted the constraints for orders pulled, the 4LT & 3LZ pkg….
We looks like the delay stays true again this week. Here is the memo we received from GM. I am also revieiwng infomation from GM to see if any delay will result of the 2 1/2 days off strike and how it will effect exisiting & future orders.

Re: Corvette Custom Leather Wrap Interiors
Date: September 20, 2007
Due to a material shortage at a key supplier, we are forced to restrict Custom Leather Wrap interior orders to zero until further notice. This applies to any order specifying either option package 4LT or 3LZ.
Please carefully review any previously, prioritized orders destined for placement, and either change or reprioritize your orders as required. Custom Leather Wrap interior orders cannot be processed, and a pattern order could result.”

The new Sienna Custom Leather Wrap Interior (245) is not recommended with the Crystal Red Exterior (89U).
Any orders with this combination will require a (D30) color/trim override.

The new Sienna Custom Leather Wrap Interior (245) is not recommended with the Crystal Red Exterior (89U). I haven’t seen the “new” interiors in person but that combination just seems like the better choice between the two(LINEN or SIENNA) for that color ? I wonder why Chevrolet is recommending LINEN/Crystal Red over SIENNA/Crystal Red ?

The same reason the Sienna will also become a D30 on the JetStream Blue….because of appearance. It was the decided upon by the corvette marketing team. Depending on what picture you saw of the Sienna, you would be lead to believe it would match Crystal red .and it doe snot.
