LET ‘ERRR RIP Corvette Super Vette just HEARD……………

some sweet comments from someone that was there and shared on CorvetteConti.com!!!

UPDATE; WE ARE TOLD 2 MORE BLUE DEVIL CARS ACTUALLY BEING BUILT AT THE BG PLANT, not the tech center, THIS WEEK!

Quote;

“Hey Rick, Just got back from the NCM Performance Tour II. They treated us to a Blue Devil “Fly By”. 100-120mph. The first thing that stuck out to me was the dual 4″ exhaust. You could hear the car approaching, going thru the gears, it sounded like a jet airplane.

We were told we were the first Civilians to see the car. In the Track Rats trailer there was a assignment board with words just as BASE and yes ZR-1. Way TO SOON! Rumors are germany will not allow an “SS” to be tested do to the Nazi affliliation. So badge it Blue Devil in Europe.

You would have enjoyed it.

Too many things to even talk about. Performance Build Center also was awesome”

END QUOTE…

I will be following up with a call and share more if there is anything else worth mentioning. I love it that you folks keep us in the loop and I am always happy to share!
THANK-YOU & THUMBS UP!

    via email….thank-you railroad

    “I was also on the power tour and will agree the new zr-1 does sound mean. I heard from someone in GM that the name zr-1 is correct. The car we saw on the tour had a full width spoiler simular to the one on the ron fellows car. I thought the exhaust looked bigger than the 4in of a zo-6, maybe 5? It also looked like the side vents were much larger than a zo-6. On a test mule zo-6 the track rats had there was a heat sink in front of the radiator that none of the engeneers would explain. Makes you wonder. I can’t wait to see the new car in detroit!”
