General Motors Corp. is suing a bankrupt automotive supplier for immediate access to specialized parts and equipment, arguing that a delay would hamper the launch of its new Chevrolet Camaro, disrupt assembly operations and cause millions of dollars in damages it can ill afford.

Although my thoughts are that the brochure does the car to justice and certainly does not represent the entire model year; ie last year the 2008 Pace car and 427 Cooksey car are not even in it, we still get and I understand requests for the current model Corvette brochure.

Today GM was to have the Bowling Green plant done with an EMPTY LINE before the holiday shutdown. The line empty is a scary feeling and weird to say the least. That did not happen due to a few delays in production yesterday. ANOTHER UPDATE, they were trying like crazy to clear the production line and IT WILL NOT HAPPEN! In fact I know there was a ZR1 just about to be done and they could not do it and it will sit until the production resumes

After today, the play will not fire up until Feb 23rd and the 1st car should be coming off the line that Thursday the 26th.(as it stands now)

KEEP IN MIND, there will be NO PLANT TOURS during this time

WE WILL be taking your Corvette orders though, this will give us and you an opportunity to help you ramp up for Vette season with your order between now and mid-February.
THE CORVETTE MUSEUM, expanding nicely IS AND REMAINS OPEN!!!!!
