GM has announced yet the 2nd price increase of the 2008 model year for Corvette. Again, only Coupe and Convertible are effected.

Each model is increased effective today by $115, bringing the Convertible base price to; $54,565 (inlcs $825 dest) and Coupes are now: $46,225 (including dest)

KEEP IN MIND, if you have given us an order already, or have a car in build or are looking at a car on the lot, these increases will not effect your order. AND FROM THE, “IF YOU CARE” FILE TODAY…..

U.S. car buyers seeking a new Corvette should look under the bonnet - because Oscar winner ADRIEN BRODY has turned one new motor into a limited-edition special.

The Pianist star, an avid motor enthusiast, signed the inside of a new Corvette engine during a recent visit to a Detroit, Michigan car plant. He reveals, “I have a Corvette and I got to go to the factory in Detroit where GM (General Motors) let me help build the engine with a technician. “I signed it ‘Adrien’s Killer Vet’, and I drew a skull and crossbones in metallic marker. It was pretty exciting.”

Dirt finally turned on $9 million expansion of Corvette Museum

NEWS:BOWLING GREEN, KY.

Bulldozers and earth-moving equipment have started digging up dirt for a $9 million expansion of the National Corvette Museum.

Site work for the 47,000-square-foot expansion is scheduled to be complete in the spring, with construction expected to start shortly thereafter.
