PRODUCTION #’S UPDATE ADDED! Something we called a long time ago and have been keeping you up to date along the way. GM has already admitted to “much less than anticipated production” for 2009 ZR1. Today we just found out that the 2009 model year allocations are “BUILT OUT!”

With the recent and additional production delays added to the 2009 Corvette model year, by our quick math, it is estimated you will see less than 1000 total worldwide ZR1’s for 2009. If you have one of these incredible cars, we just wanted to say congratulations!

MAN, February 23rd can’t get here fast enough for Bowling Green ,KY when they fire up the Corvette assembly plant to resume building 2009 Corvettes, especially the ZR1….Here is yet another accolade for the new King of the Hill.

The 2009 Corvette ZR1 was one of 10 performance cars to be nominated by an international panel of 59 journalists to win the coveted 2009 World Performance Car of the Year award. With its 638 hp supercharged V8 engine and a performance to dollar ratio unmatched anywhere, the ZR1 has catapulted the Corvette into the ranks of the top supercars.
